Short Update On Life..and Upcoming Reviews ♥

This post is just because I felt like sharing and because I felt bad for not updating with the reviews I have piling up. School is ending for me in two weeks and everything is hectic T^T and my procrastination is getting worst! I'm re-watching Inuyasha episodes for gods sake =_=...and on a night where I have a 6 page research paper that I haven't started on due the very next day! *sighhh*

Anyways, today I feel like I'm burning. If anyone happens to be my friend on facebook you'll find my numerous "It's hot!!! My room feels like a Sauna!!! I'm melting!!" posts =D! I can't believe it's 90 degrees in the Beach Area O_O!! What's worst is my dorm upstairs is hotter then outside =_= seriously?? WT!!!

So what I wanted to share was a song I found annoying when it first came out because I wasn't use to 4 minute's new style, but after hearing it a billion times, I am now addicted to it ^3^"~~:





Aside from that I just want to show what to expect for future reviews~~I bought like 3-4 hauls already from www.prettyandcute.com but I haven't really reviewed everything! I also got a few things from Sephora and www.eyecandylens.com

Princess Mimi (Bambi Series) Apple Green & Photo Shoot

      I feel like I have so much to post, that I had a hard time deciding today’s topic. In the end I’ve decided that I really would like to share my Princess Mimi (Bambie Series) Apple Green lens with the world…or anyone that reads my blog ^_^!! On my previous Princess Mimi Sesame Grey review, I posted a few photos from the photo shoot I did with one of my best friends. The person who took the photos had to do a retake for his project and so, another lovely photo shoot for me =D!! Last time I wore the Sesame grey, so this time I decided to try out the Apple Green.

First off, I will review the pair of lovely lens that I bought off Eye Candy Lens~~I have been purchasing a lot of lens lately @_@ and I think one of my goals is to collect most of the Princess Mimi series♥!! They are all so GORGEOUS!!!
 
PRINCESS MIMI APPLE GREEN (Bambi Series)

I must say, when I first tried the Sesame Grey, I was very impressed. This time I was not disappointed as well!! Well at least color, enlargement, and visibility wise. The green color was even prettier then the Geo Angel Greens! It was vibrant and really flattered the eyes, but not so vibrant that I look like my eyes are full of radiated kryptonite =D! Aside from the color, the pattern was BEAUTIFUL!!!! I love how it makes my pupil look like the middle of the sunflower, and gold/yellow patterns on the side creates an awesome sunflower effect! Also the enlargement looked really nice~~I’ve seen some extra large circle lens and it made a lot of people look alienish. With this lens it enlarges of course but for some reason it manages to magically keep eyes from becoming bug like ^o^!!!

Now..on to my disappointment…it was similar to the grey lens in where when I first put them on, I felt them. I didn’t feel uncomfortable on both eyes but I felt it on one side. I tried taking it out and putting it back in couple of times but I still felt it. It’s not painful but I just don’t enjoy feeling the edge of the contact in my eye. I’m unsure if it’s just me or if anyone else has that problem but I’m guessing it’ll get better the more I wear it. Overall, I think this doesn’t matter to me as much since the lens being so extremely gorgeous just makes up for it! If you do want super extremely comfortable lens, then this might not be for you~but if you don’t mind feeling it a bit, the awesome color and look of the lens will make up for it ♥

GEO Super Nudy Quarter Pink Lens Reviw

Hello~~I bring to you a review on Super Nudy Quarter Pink by GEO and also a review on one of my favorite lip tints of all time!! 

GEO SUPER NUDY QUARTER PINK

Brand: GEO
Origin: South Korea
Water content: 38% - 42%
Diameter: 14.8 mm, 16.0 mm effect
Base Curve: 8.4 - 8.6
Duration: 1 year disposable

I personally am not a big fan of the nudy series because it makes me look a bit creepy. I believe I tried nudy brown and golden blue and I always ended up looking like an owl or a vampire. Even after trying 2 pairs of nudys, I still wanted to buy the pink one. It just looked so nice and it's pink!!! I'm starting to collect pink lenses ^_^ so I thought why not?

These lenses are larger then the normal nudys but, I didn't think it looked that big on the eyes. Maybe it's because I've tried the Princess Mimi series which are 15.0mm?? Anyways, these lens certainly do enlarge the eyes but it isn't too dramatic, so you won't look too alienish. I do especially love the color because it looks kind of pink but at the same time it has a bit of a lavender like tint. As for comfort level, I can feel it in my eyes but my eyes slowly gets use to it and I just forget that it's in my eyes. It does get a bit dry after a while but it's nothing that eye drops can't handle. The only thing I don't like about the lens is that it makes me look a bit tired because the pink sometimes brings out my dark circles a bit more. Other then that, these lens are pretty nice♥

RATING:


Comfort: 7.5/10 the comfort level was alright~it wasn't the most comfortable lens but certainly not uncomfortable.
Color: 9/10 lovely pinkish lavender like color and very noticeable!
Enlargement: 9/10
Overall: 8/10 These lens are pretty and great for pink lovers♥

My Experience at Royal-T Maid Cafe♥

      WARNING: LONG POST OF WORDS AND EXTREME OVERLOAD OF PHOTOS!!!

   I've always wanted to go to a maid cafe especially after reading about them in mangas and hearing about them on television and from my Japanese roomie. Then I found out that there was actually one here in California *O*!!! So, of course how can I possibly pass this by??
     I made plans to go here with two of my best friends during Spring Break and we were so extremely excited! This maid cafe is located in Culver City and not only is it a cafe, it is an exhibit of cool pieces of art and there is even a cute shop with unique items! Dollywink Long Mascara Review + Dollywink Eyelash No.5 Real Nude

Hello~~~so I've bought a couple of things from pretty&cute.com and that includes the Dollywink Long Mascara and eyelashes No.5 Real Nude!!

I wish I was able to buy both the Long and Volume Mascara but I'm pretty close to being broke T^T!!



I've heard by layering both of them together, there will be beautiful results♥ Once I get my hands on the Volume mascara =] I promise I'll do another review using both of them together~~BUT...for now I only have the Dollywink Long Mascara, and that is the one I'll be reviewing today♥


First off, my lashes are pretty short because I cut them off in 10th grade =_=...I thought they would grow back longer but..NEVER HAPPENED!!!

No Mascara Lashes:

Wearing Dollywink Long Mascara (under view & front view):


I'm sure you can see the difference between no mascara & mascara~

My take on the Long Mascara is that it does lengthen as seen in photograph but of course it can't compare to wearing fake eyelashes. This mascara also doesn't budge without warm water. My normal waterproof makeup remover actually has a hard time removing this, while water easily rinses it off. The mascara also comes off in pieces just like Imju Fiberwig mascara. Another good thing is that this mascara doesn't really clump unless you layer it too much while it has already dried. I think if I were to use this with the volume mascara, maybe the results would have been better?

I wouldn't say this is my favorite mascara in the world, but the packaging is really adorable and it works pretty well for bottom lashes. I think it is very similar to the Fiberwig mascara but I haven't used that one for a long time so I'm not sure which one is better. The downside is that this mascara is a bit pricey but it is around the same price as the Fiberwig. I think I might go back to try the Fiberwig again, just to see which one is better~~



Moving on to the Dollywink Lashes~~




I've always wanted to try bottom lashes because it makes the eyes appear larger and these looked quite natural so I thought why not??

Sadly, when I wear these, I don't get why it looks so unnatural on me =[ They only look acceptable in photographs but in real life, I look FREAKY. It looks too harsh for an everyday look. I might try these again some time and maybe update this review, but for now I would probably only wear these if I'm looking for a dramatic makeup look or if I'm doing a photo shoot~~I wouldn't say that I don't recommend these because I have read such good reviews about these lashes from other people so I'm guessing it works differently for each person ^_^

Princess Mimi (Bambi Series) Sesame Grey & Geo Angel Green

I've realized that I haven't touched this blog for a while and all these product reviews I planned to do are stacking up. I think it's too much to put it all in one post so I'll gradually post them. Today's special though will be two circle lens review~~

I'll start off with Geo Angel Green♥

These lens have been reviewed many times before and I had these for a while but I've decided to review them. (I might review all my other lens too if I have time, I have like 13 pairs and I've only reviewed two of them @_@)

These lens weren't very comfy the first time but like a lot of lenses, after a little while it feels much more comfortable! The color isn't extremely vibrant nor is it that dark, but for sure it is noticeable and people will most likely notice. Especially if you're Asian most people will be curious of your green eyes =D~but it is indeed pretty. The enlargement is obvious but not overly exaggerated. Overall, I enjoyed wearing these.

RATINGS:

Comfort-8/10 The comfort level is quite comfortable =]
Color- 7.5/10 I like the color because it's not too bright nor too dark but I gave it a 7.5 based on how vibrant it is.
Enlargement-7/10 The enlargement is good but because there are so many lens coming out with larger sizes so a 7/10 for the Angels♥
Overall-7/10 since it's not my most favorite but I like it =D

Princess Mimi Sesame Grey (Bambi Series)

This lens is well known to be worn by Tsubasa ♥



I just want to say how much I love these lens! I was a bit afraid at first because the size is 15mm and I was afraid I would look alien like but it is extremely beautiful. The pattern is gorgeous as well as the color! The comfort level was just like a couple of the other lenses where it's a bit uncomfy at first and then my eyes adjust and I eventually can't feel it at all! Seriously, I love these lenses so much and just everything about it! I can't wait to try the Green apple one too!

Japan Earthquake and Earthquake prediction

I am quite sure that everyone has heard about the news of Japan's earthquake and huge tsunami. During that time I happened to be on yahoo when I saw a small breaking news sign and right away, I contacted my godparents who live in Japan to see if they are alright. I am very lucky that they are alright and my parents that were in Taiwan were not effected either.

As for many others, there have been many unlucky cases. My room mate's cousin was gone for a while but she eventually returned but the owner of the restaurant where my room mate works, wasn't so lucky. The owner's parents were missing and after giving the description of them, about an hour later, she received a call that both her parents were confirmed dead. Japan is really unfortunate during this time especially with the earthquake, tsunami, and tons of nuclear explosions that leaked radiation. Not only that, there was a volcanic eruption before the earthquake I believe. I hope that they receive as much aid as possible and I am trying to donate as well as supporting them from my school.

For those that love shopping like me, there are many places planning to donate certain percentage of their profit to Japan so look out for those items. =D
If you would just like to donate directly, you can easily go to yahoo.com and look for the "donate to Japan" sign and click on it. Help out as much as you can because I'm sure when we are in a disaster, we would want others to help as well.


Now..for a warning. I was on facebook and saw a status post by my friend. He posted about a prediction of a big earthquake in the United States, and specifically California. The prediction date is anywhere from 19th-26th of this month because those days have the highest risk. Even if you don't believe it, I believe it is better to be safe and feel foolish rather than not being prepared and facing lost and sorrow.
